Journalism Training at SMAN 2 Kisaran
KISARAN: SMAN Negeri 2 Kisaran conducts Journalistic Training according to the Referral High School Development Program, 24 to 26 October 2018.

The training presented the Head of the Medan Waspada Newspaper Bureau at the Range of Nurkarim Nehe, SE, MSP, elements of the North Sumatra PWI board and the 2013 Main Competency Journalist predicate from the Press Council, to fulfill the training weight.
Head of SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran Syahruddin Lubis, said that Journalism training is one of the recommended lessons for referral SMA. In this case Waspada was chosen to fill in as a resource, because this media cares about education.
"So far the news of Waspada has become a reference for students in fulfilling school assignments, because it has an educational rubric that is relevant to the development of education in Indonesia," Lubis explained.
Therefore, Waspada is the sole speaker in this training, so that students can add insight into the world of education.
"Besides that, Waspada has tested the quality of the news. Hopefully students can learn about journalism," Lubis explained.
Separately Head of Communication and Information Office H. Rahmat Hidayat Siregar S. Sos, MSi, stated that what was done by SMAN 2 Kisaran was very appropriate considering journalistic knowledge was very strategic to be mastered by students.
"Journalistic ability is useful in all fields not only for journalist practitioners," he said.
Regarding the selection of speakers, Siregar said that the national newspaper Waspada was considered to play an active role in the world of education, so that it could be a reference in improving the creativity of students and students.
"The oldest Waspada daily in North Sumatra always presents actual and reliable news, also cares about the world of education by providing a special page," explained Siregar.
